March 23, 2006 - Swatchbox Technologies, a leader in home design software tools, announced today that Clopay Garage Doors has launched a new and improved online door design application based on its successful “Door Imagination System” professional software.  Also, a Version 2.5 upgrade to the “Door Imagination System” was announced.

The new door design software allows user to view thousands of combinations of door style, window style, color, and hardware options on photo realistic images of home exteriors.  Users can also print out a project summary, and email a request to a local dealer for a quotation.

The Clopay Door Imagination System is a professional software package that allows Clopay contractors to show their clients what Clopay products will look like on photographs of their own home.  During an onsite visit for a quotation, the contractor can take a picture of a prospective client’s home, move that image to a laptop computer, and within minutes show the prospect what new doors will look like.

The Door Imagination System has proven to close sales faster, and increase the average cost of a sale by helping the contractor upsell both model and accessories, like lites and hardware. 

Version 2.5 offers new features and functionality including:

• Addition of the popular Gallery product line.
• The ability to customize and display decorative hardware including lift handles, door knockers, step plates, and strap hinges.
• Addition of eight foot heights to the Coachman and Reserve product lines.
