Swatchbox Technologies Announces New
SaaS - Swatchbuilder - the semi-custom
virtual room designer
BOSTON, November 5, 2009 - Swatchbox Technologies, the most innovative player in virtual design tools for the home, has launched Swatchbuilder - the new web-based virtual room designer targeted at small to mid-size companies with restricted marketing budgets.
Swatchbuilder is a tool that enables manufacturers, retailers, builders, interior designers, real estate agencies and many other companies to enhance their product and service offerings by adding a virtual room designer to their website. With this tool, potential customers can manipulate the surfaces (walls, countertops, floors, garage doors, etc.) within photos of actual rooms and get a sense for what the final product will look like before investing money into their renovation or building project.
The client obtains lead information from their room visualizer when customers register and/or request additional information. This feature helps capture data that some clients would not normally obtain, enabling them to better qualify their customers and more directly market their products and services.
The setup process for Swatchbuilder is simple. Clients go to swatchbuilder.com, choose their package and customize their virtual room designer. The client then copies the code and pastes it into the code on their site. It's that simple.
"We are very excited to launch this product and the demand has greatly increased over the past few months. The market is ready for this platform-based tool that uses the same foundation technology as our Fortune 500 customers," said Mike Brunzell, co-founder and senior vice president of sales and marketing. "Swatchbuilder provides tremendous value for a small monthly subscription fee. We know these tools are very popular with consumers and drive significant revenue to our clients."
Swatchbuilder is an affordable solution for companies who prefer not to host the technology on their servers or deal with the hassle of maintenance. Swatchbox handles updates without affecting the code on the client's site. The client has access to an admin dashboard where they control the layout, theme, products, and account settings.
There are two package offerings for Swatchbuilder: Lite and Standard. Both packages enable clients to upload their own product swatches and room scenes, establishing greater brand preference with consumers and giving users a more accurate and personal experience.
Swatchbox Technologies has a roadmap of product features lined up for Swatchbuilder including giving users the ability to upload their own photos, incorporation of social networking features, additional languages, and many more.
