Swatchbox Technologies offers several flexible options for implementing virtual design tools. We provide turn-key solutions for clients that want us to manage their applications and data, as well as a la carte technology and services for clients who wish to manage some parts themselves.
Swatchbox Rendering Engine
The foundation for Swatchbox Technologies virtual design solutions is the Swatchbox Rendering Engine. The Swatchbox rendering engine combines advanced digital photo manipulation with specialized techniques for rendering home design products as realistically as possible in digital photos of interior and exterior home settings.
Virtual Designers
There are two primary design tool offerings. Each is custom developed to reflect the client’s brand image and product selection process.
Virtual Designer – an application that comes pre-packaged with everything a consumer needs to start designing right away with existing room images. Typically deployed on the web and/or on kiosks.
DIY Virtual Designer – an application that includes the ability for consumers to design using digital photos of their own homes. Typically deployed through downloaded software and on CDROM.
Implementation Options
Managed Implementation - Swatchbox Technologies designs and builds a custom application and manages the complete implementation process.
Facilitated Implementation – Swatchbox Technologies facilitates the integration of and interfaces to the Swatchbox Rendering Engine using an API, in partnership with your team or your agency.
Deployment Options
On-Demand (hosted) – Swatchbox Technologies manages the application(s) and your data for a monthly fee. On-Demand customers enjoy full-service treatment and advanced reporting capabilities and avoid costly upfront licensing fees.
CDROMs – Tools can be put on CDROM for distribution in physical channels. Swatchbox Technologies can manage package design, disc manufacturing and can provide an eCommerce platform for selling the tool online.
Kiosks – Tools can be installed on kiosks for use in-store. Swatchbox Technologies can manage system selection and interface design and can provide ongoing application hosting and support.
Customer Support
Swatchbox Technologies typically provides 2nd tier customer support working in close collaboration with our clients’ call center staff. We provide training and can provide online support options including FAQs, product announcements and updates.
